| Can anyone show up to the AGM? Probably just members? Can anyone go to meetings? Just curious, I might be interested in getting into all this. What does racing require? Just a safe vehicle & a helmet? |

Everyone is welcome at ERC club meetings, next one is Dec 12 at the club(ware)house.
The Rallywest AGM is open too, but it may be a bit dry if you're new to the sport.
Come to the rallycross on Sunday to chat up the fellas there. All you need is a safe vehicle and a Snell 2000 or better helmet. If you don't have one, we have loaners. |

| Recommendations on where to purchase helmets? Where to go, what name to look for? |

You need to go to a race shop to get a Snell helmet. Helmets at Canadian Tire are not approved.
And if the salesman tries to tell you that the helmet is okay because it's DOT approved, he don't know shite! The brand doesn't matter, as long as it's got the Snell sticker on it. The sticker will most likely be found inside the top of the helmet (where the top of your head would touch the helmet). Look under the padding there. |
