Okay, so this "Initial D" is a guy who drifts a Corolla GTS.
That's about all I know about it. Can you give me more details? Is it an animated cartoon, or is it just still pictures? Where can I find out more about it, and maybe see some examples of it? |

It's animated, some traditional anime style, some computer. He's a young kid driving his fathers Corolla GTS(Trueno, AE86, Hachi Roku, bad ass mamajamma), on a tofu run through the winding passes of Akina(I believe). Anyways, he had become a legend before he even realized that other people drove like he did. So one night he eventually gets involved in a drift street race, kicks ass obviously, and it goes from there. New challengers every couple episodes, new cars, a girlfriend who's a hooker, dipshit friend in his AE85......yeah it goes on. There are 2 seasons of 26 episodes as far as I can tell, then the Third Stage was a full length movie.
Pretty much all of the episodes are on Kazaa for download, but there are dvd's out there that you can buy, although I'm not so sure about region codes.

matt got most of it, but 26 episodes in first stage, 11 (or 13) in the second stage, and then the third stage movie...
i find it a really entertaining series |

Kazza has every episode. I have All of the 1st and 2nd Stages. I have the 3rd Stage movie and the battle stage.
Look it up on Kazza, if anyone wants the first episode of the 1st stage I can send it to you over MSN to get started. |
