I was driving the Red 2door "thing". It started off as a sunbird, but now has a cavalier Z24 gfx package on it, 99Z24 rims, intrax springs, 98Cavalier spoiler, and i could go on ;)
I was the guy that pulled up next to you at the light, but then you kinda like backed up, and turned right :blink: |

ahh ok, cool. I was actually going to ask you were you got the car painted. Is it a turbo sunbird?
I turned right because I saw the makings of a race happening and I wanted to watch. I think it is in the thread above this one :) |

I'd say a good 1/4 of the car Has been painted by myself. :)
nope, no turbo for me. and Im still having a few a/f problems with the rebuild that was done a few K's ago... so the bird runs like crap for the time being.
are you just visiting sherwood park or something? i noticed the sask plates. |

paint is my number one thing right now. I need to find a place that is decent, and won;t charge out the ass. I love the car and all, but I don't think it is worth putting a 4000$ paintjob onto it. I was also thinking of finding a DIY paintbooth and trying that out...but I think I would f@ck it up.

Depends on how much skill you have with painting. I've got stuff on my car that i've painted myself, and nobody has even noticed.
I just painted the black trim around my car (almost exactly like yours) myself, and it looks pretty good. Parts like the trunk, hood, roof, fenders, and upper portions of the doors I havent touched with paint yet. The rest I've done, and it matches fairly well. |

It's a 93 240sx convertable.... It's a very nice car when you see it in person IMO.
I would guess there are more than 5 in Canada, but there are not a lot of them, not like the coupes/hatches anyways especially since it's the last model year of the North American S13. |
