Solo Mobile, i need you help guys - Click HERE for Original Thread

Prudz_lude
Hey guys, i used to work for bell mobility in bonnie dune shoping mall. It got shut down becasue someone opened a private dealer store next to us

Anyway, i now work for the sister company in that mall. Its the same people working there and the same management. A flat panel 28 inch tv was left over after the bell shut down. its a really nice samsung one. Whoever sells the most phones per hours working there from today dec. 11 to jan 11 gets the tv FOR FREE!!!

I want the tv obviously as everyone else. Come in and ask for Adam if your looking for a phone. Mention your off 780 and i will get you the best deal i can, i will give you all my commission i would make off the sale and give it as a discount, and i will give you $10 dollars from my pocket for your sale!!! On top of that there are some pretty crazy deal right now. hahaha if you want a phone come to mE!! i want that TVVV!!!

XtraX
Shit thats where I got my phones from. I always thought it was gay that they had 2 stores within spitting distance.

I'm pretty sure this topic is against the rules? If not please excuse my rudeness.

Why get excited over a fucking 28" TV? You can go out right now and buy a brand new really decent 32" LCD HDTV for like $600...

Prudz_lude
yah it was the most retarded move the corporation could have done. They sold the rights and allowed them to move 2 doors down. Soo dumb.

Seriously though guys, someone in the cell phone industry giving up all their commission, paying you to buy a phone off them, and giving you the promotional discounts. The phone is pretty much free and you can get some other stuff free depending on what you get.

I know, its nearing against the rules. The only thing is its not completely imo. Im not some random spamming. Just trying to get a free tv for christmas. there is a big difference to me from Free and $600

Prudz_lude
oh and if you do decide to stop by i work wed 9-5, friday 9-5, sat 1-9

AudiInProgress
Justified. Ignore my comments. I hate cell phones and I can't be of any help to you.

Just out of curiousity, how much money are you going to lose on comission for getting us all "Great Deals" and paying us all $10 to buy a phone from you?

Wouldn't you make enough in comission and keeping your $10/head to buy a new tv with warranty, better picture, and features?

Just trying to approach this logically.

Lukesky
Why don't you just save all your commission and buy the tv instead of losing money on every sale :P Or just go work at another dealer and make more money :P

Prudz_lude
I make a $14 an hour pay right now plus commission. Commission is not a percent either. It depends completely on what i sell, how long a contract, no contract, what accessories, warrenty stuff like that. A good sale will bring me in on average $30 dollars. Rate plan will be about $5 dollars, $accessorie is another $3-5 dollars, warranty is i believe about $8-10, term 3 year is about $12-15 dollars.

The thing is Solo is not well heard of yet. The plans blow every other company out of the water but its not wide spread yet so its much harder to sell even though access fees are cheaper, rate plans are way cheaper, phones cost next to nothing. The fact is i sell much less now. I used to average 3 phones to 4 phones a day and i was the top along with 1 other individual for the 3 months i worked full time there.

Im part time now and its now solo. I sell maybe 1-2 phones a shift if i am lucky. Alot of the time i sell 0 along with everyone else working that day. Paying out my commission for the 18 hours i work every week to the very few people that will show up in the next 30 days seems smarter. If i give up $30 ish dollars every sale, make about 15 sales i get a free tv worth about $600. Its also fact that i will not be making a perfect sale everytime so odds are i wont be giving away $30 dollars everytime. I still get my base wage which is nice. I am positive with 15 sales i will get the tv. Its like i get it half off i guess.

No luke lavorato. I used to work for Peter lee who managed southgate and bonnie dune. Peter got fired and eric lee replaced him. He was my manager for about 3 weeks. Then when we turned into solo Luke became a full manager so now he is my only manager.

ZEguy
Or if you think adam is a fag come buy one from me at telus.

Everyone is going to have a problem with customer service, whether is be telus, bell or rogers. The difference is the way you go about it and handle it. If you get a bitchy rep, hang up and phone back.. if you still get bitchy reps well find a way to deal with it accordingly.

exactly. I am not always the happiest person when a dick of a customer comes in, calls me names and then expects to be treated with respect. When he realizes he won't be thats when customers tend to get their opinions of how shitty the company is. In all honesty i think rogers, bell, and solo are about the same. Solo is just cheaper.

As for telus, not to bad either but i have been fucked over so many times by them and they would refuse to help at all. I was hung up on before which should never happen. It wasn't a lost call in a transfer either. The guy actually slammed the phone in my ear.

Lukesky
Anyways, go give the man some business!

Prudz_lude
