Wait till Tyler blows up his car or beats it up. Then sell it to him for double the price. lol
You know it won't take long.

Prudz_lude
lol nah, his will last. But someone could buy all this stuff and make more power than he will be

The turbo manifold picture will be up friday. The thing is f-ing sexy and will produce some killer power. A guy i know on prelude power had the exact built, same parts, etc minus the sk2 intake manifold and made 323whp at 8psi. That is fricking insane. He agreed this setup should be able to make a bit more if you got a 70mm throttlebody and slapped it on the intake manifold. PS. this block is good for over 25psi. Im not even sure how much can be thrown at it but i know that 25 is not pushing it.

There is a guy on homemadeturbo with a very similar engine setup that just put down 617whp...From the sounds of it your engine would handle 500hp+ all day long, now those H-series tranny's may be a different story lol..

Prudz_lude
the trannys actually hold up with the power as well. Very very few people actually rebuild their transmissions or even get them carbon coated. Most just slap an LSD in and their done. The clutch is what everyone has to invest in.

2ndgenlude
my engines not going anywhere. ive already beat on it, and it doesn't even break a sweat. same rods as me, only difference is pistons, and i believe CP makes a better piston. thats all preference though. stock trannys take the abuse just fine.

A stock H22 will handle 450whp so I'm 100% sure that motor will handle 500whp

GL on Sale

2ndgenlude
a stock h22 will NOT handle 450whp. i have a piston to prove that. H22 ringlands are weak. its not advisable to go over 300whp on a stock h22.

lovinthespeed
sell it to tyler he will need it and like i told you on pl i will buy it if it is up in the summer i got an old 4th gen i might throw it in cause i need to get ride of the 3rd lol

2ndgenlude
throw it in the trunk for AWD hahaha. but no, i don't need it.

lovinthespeed
ya you do that duct tape doesnt hold good enought ahhhhh balling awd 2 engines lol

That would because it wasn't tuned right. there is many of them in nova scotia making that. 400whp on pump fuel 450 on race fuel. ringlands only break because its not tuned right or u held the pedal too long and the heat cooked the motor.

bingo! Tyler you are out of your element on this one. Someone else in the states is running a h22 with 450whp stock for the last 2 years. He spent something like 90 hours tuning.

This guys motor is for the most part a really good motor for boost.

Benson sleeved h22a block 89mm bore
Wiesco 89mm pistons/pins/rings
Good for 9:5:1 compression ratio
Eagle rods
Kasimspeed balance shaft eliminater kit
Benson OEM mirco polished crank

Really his only weaker point would be his rods. I wouldn't push the motor much past 525-550whp tops on race fuel. If you want more power you would want to upgrade the Rods to Pauter or Crower billet. Any honda boosted shouldn't be push past 400whp on pump fuel regardless if it is built or not, you never know when your fuel could be bad or isn't consistant fuel rating, pump fuel is only an average of what it really is.

If I was in the market for a new motor for boost I would most likely pick this up. Your going to be paying the same if not more to build basically the same engine over.

If I had my green hatch out here I would be interested in the bottom end he has forsale. In any Civic Hatch with the suspension right you would be running low to mid 10's easy.

Stock motors needs A/F of 10.5-11.2 full throdle
Built motor can be a bit leaner 11.5-12.2 full throdle

Best of luck selling your piece.

Kyle

i am willing to part out now. Someone wants the block, but i don't want to sell it until i can find a buyer for the crank. Its a benson's micro polished h22 crank.

You can also look at it this way. Most people buy an h22 for that price. You can buy a complete swap from me for the same price about $3500, get a tranny, a built bottom end, a great condition head, drop it into a car and get 400whp if you have a turbo kit ready for it. Same price as a h22 that will only give you 160-170whp if your lucky.

Shox
How much are you looking to get for the complete bottom end now ? I was only going to use another stock h22 unless your bottom end is the right price.

i would let the complete bottom end go for 2250 and no less. I was asking 2500 but i parted out the balance shaft eliminator kit and i am looking for an extreme quick sale. Hell a sleeved block without the crank, the rods or the pistons will run you about 2 grand shipped out and shipped back. Im sure your aware of that.

GE sleeves any honda 4 cylinder engine for 850$ a mid kit sleeve kit( yours is just new sleeves not mid kit), $175 shipped both direction, plus the cost of a block if you don't have one. A Sleeved block, with rods, pistons, crank, bearing is worth what you were asking like I said above. Piston/rods general run you $1200 for both depending on brand.

So if you were selling the block rods and pistons what is is worth to you? A stock h22 crank can handle 800whp, unless your crank was damaged there no need for the one you have. $100 for a mirco polish stock crank and it good to go.

Prudz_lude
ok i'll clear the pricing up for you.

4 cylinder block sleeving with final bore/hone to your specifications included $975 for the block to be sleeved. $50 dollars shipping within the US. That price is assuming you don't have an h22 block to ship out.

Balance/Micropolish 4 cylinder crank $150 Plus you need to still own your own crank and ship it out as well. A oem crank can cost you about $100 before shipping. Thats the going rate on honda-tech if your lucky.

Honda H-Series eagle rods H22 $330

h22 Wisco pistons $750

Total is $2105 dollars if you own all the parts. If you don't own your own h22 block, or an h22 crank add that to the price. I guess $2250 is pretty much bang on what it would cost to buy the parts. however, you do have to pay over $300 in boarder fees, and $400 just to ship it there and back so in the end your looking at about $3000 dollars just to get all the parts to canada after they have had their work done.

I'll do $2000 and that would be the lowest i would ever go. Good luck finding this build for that price. If you think you can, try to, then ship it up. I know for a fact that price is going to hit $3000 no matter what you do. Companies like laskey racing will never ship any products as a gift.

My price is pretty much knocking about $1000 off the cost. I know a couple other people on these boards that have spent $3000 dollars once everything was said and done for the same build. I paid $3000 as well. $2000 is more than fair.
