Tobogganing - Click HERE for Original Thread

Anyone know a good place to go tobogganing around the city. I never really looked for it but nothing comes to mind.

St. Albert, i think they call it 7 hills, its right up by the Catholic church. friggin awesome, i used to go there when i was a kid all the time. i even broke my arm there once on a bike

GOT BOOST
Deadmans hill…at least that is what we called it when we were kids.

It is right at the bottom of Fox Drive and by the river. You can see it from the freeway. It used to be way more fun when the fence was not installed half way down the hill. They did it to cut the speed down of tobogganers so they would not go smashing through the hay bails and in front of or into cars. Ahh…the good old days!

Tobogganing is most fun in a crazy carpet. You never know where you are going to go or what or who you are going to hit. :D

I've been to 7 hills long ago...

Alot of people go tobogganning/tubing at Rundle Park too, up near the entrance road.

Umm could try near one of the two ski hills in the city.

REFLUX
Agreed with Got Boost

When you get onto Fox Drive coming off the Whitemud it's on the right side

I smashed my face off a picnic table when I was a child... Left an awesome scar on my upper lip... Split my shit right from the lip up to the nose, I looked like that fuckin' pink dude from Futurama...

also where the pyramids are is a nice hill, connors road I think its called.

Prudz_lude
government hill is the best hill the city has left. its right near the museum. My friend broke his arm on it last year from going to fast haha so you know its good

that or fox drives hills. ten bumps in belgravia, or fox drives suicide. Its the hill with the bench at the top. its extremely steep and you actually have to bail at the end before you crash into the horse stables fence. You have about 10 feet of flat after the decline hahahaha. It makes for some killer bails.

jordanturbo
or you could go with this lol, no need for a car to pull, or a hill to go down

had a pivot where the engine and gt joined so you could djust for traction or driftning, home made studded tire (wood screws work wonders), throttle was a bike gear shifter on one ski, the brake was a brake lever on the other. It ran on a mixture of oil and rootbear as the lubricant, then 50/50 mix of octane booster and premium gas
