a resturant in south common, and a damn good one at that

took the girlfriend there last night for our christmas

absolutely amazing food, the firecracker spring rolls with hot sauce are simply epic!

the only thing I don't like is how the front is set up like it should have valet parking but then there isnt actually any. Not that I really want a valet park, I just want to show off my car in the summer time:D

dalamon

Bitties are nice to look at.

I got my sister a gift certificate there.. she loves it. I've never been. My eye socket just started to hurt out of nowhere.

man, i used to work at OPM when the place first opened up.
They trained me as an oil cook, and then they suddenly moved me to appetizers (with no additional training btw, I was expected to pick it up as i did actual dinner rushes)
Then since I wasn't going at the same pace as the other cooks, they bumped me down to prep and dishwashing.
That is by far the worst (and probably only BAD) job in the restuarant. Incredibly bad tips (I literally got 3 dollars on one paycheque), the hot waitresses are mostly all bitches who only talk the bartenders and "real" cooks, and they never wipe the crap off their plates which is part of their job. Seriously, that one task takes 2 seconds for them, but when the dinner rush is on, it made my job ten times as hard. And the stink from the wash station stayed on my hands all week...ask the people in my monday morning english class that year.
I kid you not, I was the first person hired for the job, and I got a new partner almost every week. Why? everybody quit after their first shift! This one middle aged lady i worked with told me on her second shift that the night before (which we got out of the restuarant at close to 3 am, when we're only scheduled till 12) she went home and just cried due to exhaustion.
By the time i quit, OPM had hired 8 new partners for me to work with. 8! and i only worked there 2 months! Oh, it also didn't help that we got paid the least too.
There are a lot more things i could rant about, but that would take forever.
Sorry to take this thread off track, but i needed to rant.
Worked with some cool guys, but overall probably the worst job i've ever had.

Oh, the foods not bad though....i would never pay full price for it though...got my fill with employee discounts

AFI Performance
I went there last sunday. It was good food and service, and what I would consider very cheap pricing for anything above mcdonalds.

Give it a try, it will not be a bad experience.

hmm i dunno i guess its gotten better since then? i started as steward which is washing dishes/ making rice for 10.50 an hour and i worked my ass off cuz thats what u do to go up and i got put up to wok/ oil cooking w.e u wanna call it after 5 shifts . i got trained and they gave me a booklet to memorize the recipes and i got put up to 12 an hour . they train now/ staff is sweet foods GREAT lol and discount kicks ass :D kp meals hahah

rocklee_86
