Remote starter question - Click HERE for Original Thread

quick_gold
So far i got 3 quotes from JB power, CR, and futurshop. Futurshop and JB are upto $100 cheaper and they both provide the basic Compustar. CR however, gave the highest quote for a "Titan" starter.
Any advice u guys?.. i never heard about that Titan starter, even had a very hard tome trying to fond anything on it online.
If anyone has a manual Mazda3 with immobilizer, alarm and shock sensor wat do u guys recommend?
I would have went with FS but they said installation would be end of Jan which is basically useless so i am thinking of JB.

I'd go to JB's but chances are install will probably be around the same wait time, I would go for a compustar over a titan. However for just a starter, I would go with Astro start
Oneway: RS-613
Twoway: RS-623

Or wait out till the 2524 next month.

What location did you call?

and which Titan unit? as we only have the ONE ways in for manual trans.

and a starter install is like most things in this world, you get what you pay for.

I dropped by the Southside location. Yeah its a one way, the cheapest thing u guys got i think. I agree u get wat u pay for thats y i am asking... only thing that made me hesitate is that i never heard about those titans... My old car has a Scotia starter/power lock kit on it that the old owner installed... By the time i sold it one lock was stuck, the remote locks werent working and the company was bankrupt.. I dont want to have repeat of that a few years down the road with Titan

Mathew
titan is BRAND new... and i highly doubt you will ever see anything like bankrupcy happen as long as you own that car. its a BOOMING product and its only gonna get bigger. adnwe do all the testing and software upgrates here in edmonton on them so if there ever is anything going on its not like you have to send anything out in the mail and wait

Good to know, thanks Mat.
