I'm in need of some couplers, silicone house and a bunch of t-bolt clamps (im sick of the f"ckin worm clamps). I havent measured exactly what I need but it is somewhere in the range of a 2.5"-2.75", a 2.5"-2.25" reducers and 2 1.75" straights. The straights on the intercooler I will just pick up some 3 layer silicone pipe from a warehouse I know of in town because they will give it to me for free.
For the reducers I dont know what I should get... this is for a turbo dsm running 15psi on a fp28 turbo. They are going from intake->turbo and turbo->lower ic pipe. Do i need hump reducers? 4 layer or 3 layer? Is name brand any better than generic?
Next, for the 3mm hose I have running from the outlet nipple on the turbo to the waste gate actuator... Is there a silicone hose type specially made for this application? I've use just regular silicone and its currently leaking, ive used fuel line and it cracked and I used rubber hose and it didnt even make one pull.
For t-bolt clamps should I go name brand or generic? I dont mind spending $5-15 a clamp as long as they arent going to strip out on me or back off. Would I want clamps with springs or no springs?
Finally where is the best place to order all this stuff? Dont tell me mopac or anywhere in the city, I priced some stuff out a while ago and it came to over $200, a single reducer would cost $40 at mopac. Looking at some online stores the prices are all over the board but it shoudl be under $80 for the two reducers and clamps; I dont really like to do ebay if I can help it. |

| I just cleared out mopac of their 2.5" t bolt clamps, they said all sizes are only 4.99 each, best price I could find locally, greggs wanted 8.80 or something each. |
