Costco is selling movie packs.

The deal is:
2 Adult admissions
2 Medium Drinks
1 Medium Popcorn

All for $21.99. There is no limit on the amount of tickets you can purchase.

This is a better deal than the AMA, or the tickets you can buy as a student at the U of A.

For Cineplex?

AudiInProgress
That's way too expensive.

I'll sit at home and download thanks.

Then I don't have to put up with fucking rude kids, sticky floors, and shitty theatre seats. Nevermind the fact that every time I go to the movies, I get sick afterwards, because the food is so bad.

Yes for Cineplex. I believe they are also good for the Scotia Bank Theater as well. I could be wrong on that.

Rob,

This is for people who enjoy going to the movies. This would excude you.

If you were to price them out individually it would be way more than $21.99.

Lets see for one admission you are already at $12.50, so X 2 = $25.00 (already more expensive than the ticket pack, that does not include the popcorn and drink)

Once you add in the popcorn and drink individually it cost way more than $21.99.

Well since you're rollin' in the cash, and I only say that because you seem to know how to save money really well, would you care to take me on a date - you strapping young man?

Oh, plus, isn't Costco members only? And a membership is $50... So if you don't buy an assload of tickets, one movie pack is going to LOSE you money...

Good point but what retard is going to go to costco to spend $50.00 on a membership just to buy one movie ticket pack.

Most times when people go to costco they purchase shopping carts full of goods. The membership pays for its self. Even if you only buy tires...yes they sell those too at a good price. :D

I saw them there last week. Thought about buying some for all the people on my list but my parents never get the food at the movies so it's kinda of a waste. Plus I've pretty much given up on watching movies in theatres. 90% of the time the movie is disappointing and I want to shoot myself after having to arrive an hour before the movie actually begins just to get a seat where I'm not breaking my neck.

EK9Hatch
Pretty good deal. I'll have to check it out.

They are a pretty good deal.

I like to go for the early Sunday shows. There is hardly anyone in the theater. :D

You can buy the same package @ AMA for around the same price.

Cheverz
Thx i'll have to grab some do they expire?

sleeper_
Yup, I know you have more than a year to use it before expiry.

Lukesky
Scotia Bank is a Cineplex.

And from AMA they have those as well, they're 22 bucks.

negative.

You pick up the card board box display ticket and take it to the cashier to pay.

Upon payment they will then go to where ever the tickets are kept and bring them out to you.

I have purchased 4 ticket packs from them this way.

Ah, OK.

I just use the vouchers anyways. Popcorn sucks, nachos FTW!

If you're buying from AMA, you also have to be a member. That's 82 smackers. It'd be cheaper to get a Costco membership, pickup the tics and a huge box of Stoned Wheat Thins. Why the crackers? Just because you can.
