Premier Subs on ebay - Click HERE for Original Thread

fugumerkur
I need some opinions on if this is too good to be true.

Check the ad and tell me what you think about the subs

2 premiers

if comes out to $50.00 in shipping so about 140.00 cdn all said and done for 2 1000 watt subs.

I would probably have to buy another amp just to power the 2 of them properly.

2 good to be true.

i dont think its a scam, they have lots of feed back, and stereo equipment is dirt chea in the states. someone on here picked up a pioneer premier deck from visions for 308 and i picked it up in cali 6 mths ago for 180. then I picked up alpine type s speakers 6.5" for 67 a set, and this was from a retail outlet that had the added costs of running a shop

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't those subs from 1982?

Even though they are still brand new in the box, they wont sell for the same price as a 2008 Model.

pretty sure that isnt a scam...eBay is crazy, lol. i get alot of stuff from there.just gotta look for the right people.

fugumerkur
they don't look like a 1982 design, and the model numbers would look different,

I dunno, looks the same on the box as when I bought my subs 3 years ago.

I guess the biggest thing is figuring out how long it takes to blow them.

newaccorddriver
you get what you pay for. its old, but its true

heres a game you could play. you buy everything you want EXPECTING THEM TO BLOW. and if they dont blow for a couple years, then obviously you lose, but if they do, then consider yourself a winner. atleast this way you wont be so mad in the end

Ok, you are wrong.

Those are this year's model.

They are cheap subs and a very good value (comparable to something like a Type-E, Type-S <somewhere in beweeen those two>).

Seems reasonable, I just want to annoy people in traffic but I don't plan on going for any SPL comps any time soon.

I took another look at them this morning and shipping is the killer.
It seems the subs have quite the weight to them and have managed to sum up a shipping total of 94.00

so $89.00 for the subs and $94.00 for shipping.

Looks like its 100.00 sub all said and done,

I paid that for bottom of the barrel Pioneers that lasted almost 3 years in multiple vehicles...

With the reasoning behind that it should be a good deal provided they last at least a year.

The Daver
these are this years or last not sure but they have them at visions go hear them there first

fugumerkur
I will have to do that! Thanks for the tip.

I've had older pioneer "premier" subs before... if they're what's in the picture, they won't disappoint.

Just make sure they're driven by a quality amp or else they'll distort the coil very soon from heat build-up.
