Hey guys... quick question. My car recently has been sputtering, under 2500 rpm, if I step on the gas. Even if I'm just idling and step on it, it will sputter a few times and then go. I through some fuel system cleaner in the gas tank before I went to Red Deer for christmas and it did nothing.
Could it be spark plugs? Any suggestions?
Thanks,

| GOT BOOST |
I would check the following in the order of most likely to least likely:
1) Spark Plug Wires
2) Fuel Filter and fuel lines(for pressure, could indicate a plugged filter)
3) Spark Plug
4) Timing
Hope that helps,

| Everything got boost said and just add Cap and rotor in there and see if the rotor has got any play in it. |

You should try to find the root cause... plugs don't just go bad suddenly (unless your racing, I suppose). Maybe your leaking something and its causing the plugs to die? Or maybe they were just old... :dunno: |
