Hey guys,
Hope everybody is having a good holiday. I replaced the front signals on my 2 and have been having a problem. The left signal indicator (on the dash) is dimly (about halfway) illuminated constantly when the parking lights are on, as well as the back signal being constantly illuminated. The right is off, like normal, dash and rear. When I signal the fast repeater goes, like that which indicates that the bulb is burnt out on the front or rear. I talked to a friend who used to have a 2 and he said it might be the repeater mechanism. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem or knows what it might be. Also, the front side marker may be burnt out, or it may be a problem related to the repeater, I replaced the bulb a month and a half ago, so I don't think so but I'm not sure, as well when the bulb on the side signal was burnt out this didn't happen. I'm going to be changing the lenses on the side signals so I'll defiantly see if it's the bulb or repeater then, but if anyone knows before hand that would help. Thanks guys.

i too recently had he same problem. I grabbed the wrong bulbs but they still fit in the hole so i put them in and then I realized later when they weren't working that I grabbed the wrong ones. try it out you never know right.

Yeah that would be the 1156/1157 bulb thing probly, worth checking at least. 1157 is a dual filiment bulb and the 1156 only a single filiment. Sometimes will fit into a socket meant for the other.

I'm pretty sure that's not it since I'm using the bulbs that came with the lens replacements. BUt I'll go double check just in case.
