Hey, Buddy of mine has like 50 shares of telus that he got a while ago working there.
He lost them and recently found them.
How does he go about cashing them in?

Best option is to open a discount trading account. Deposit the shares into the account then execute the sell order if he wishes to sell them.
From there he can either reinvest into something else, or have the money put into his bank account and run.
The discount trading account will cost him alot less than going through a full service IA or a broker.
