like the title says, what are some Fun things to do when in Vegas? I buddy told me about a place that you can drive different cars on a small track, but he forgot the name...
Is there any other ones like that?

shawley

newred am not recalling the entertainment you are talking about but we did go to the Sahara Hotel.

They have an Indy/Off Road race simulator. Both are great fun...unless you have a weak stomach !! Think it's called something like Speedway Simulator or Cyber Speedway

Also if you just like to look at cars the Imperial Hotel always has a "car show" and its free. The cars are always changing...well over 100 I would bet at any one time and are for sale if you are in the market.

They'll have exotics and "star" cars etc and some real unusual cars as well

:)

www.vegas.com is your best site. It's where my wife and I booked all of our shows and things we are gonna do.

I'm personally gonna be hitting up the Mario Andretti thing.

Cyanide Ride
GM used to have this thing called "The Drive" they were supposed to bring it back this year, but I haven't seen anything yet.

$10 US gets you 3 runs on their road course in a Solstice (yuk) Cadilliac CTS-V (nice) Z0-6 (very nice) or a selection of Hummers on an offroad course in the center of the track.

The Z0-6 and Solstice are manuals as well

Blue Man Group was really good when I went.
Cirque De Solei wasn't as good as I expected.
I woulnd't spend ALL my time gambling, you can gamble anywhere now anyway.
The Outlet malls have cheap clothes.
Check out the different hotels local attractions online to see if they interest you, many are cheap/free and pretty cool.

Go to a gun range, fire a fully auto machine gun.

There is also an indoor skydiving place with a big fan on the floor. You wear a suit that catches the air and makes you float. Looked fun and reasonably priced but if you don't mee their height/weight restrictions you can't do it.

I have full intentions to do a bit of gambling and shopping.... and spend the rest of my time golfing and at the shooting range when I'm down there later.

We heard that Andretti school is awesome, but they weren't offering courses on the days we were there.

Here's just a few observations from my experience this summer when I went with my cousin... we are both 22.

Don't go on the Hoover Dam tour, it's boring as fuck and wastes an entire afternoon.

Spearmint rhino is cool, but we had more fun at the less popular gentleman's clubs.

There's a few places to rent exotic cars but we ruled against that after seeing how crazy the traffic is on the strip. We saw multiple accidents while down there.

I believe it's the Hard Rock that has a famous beach bash type thing on Sundays at their pool that gets crazy.

As for hotels, we picked the Wynn at random and it kicked ass. Ferrari dealership right in the hotel and the only Euro pool on the strip which had a bunch of models in it when we were there. And pretty much all the shenanigans were facilitated by girls wanting to check out what a Wynn room is like.

The Fashion Show mall is right across the street from the Wynn and it was a good place to stay cool and get a bite to eat for a decent price. Its not as big as WEM but puts it to shame for cool shit inside.

Also, do a good bit of pre-drinking before you get to a bar. A Corona is like $10 at some places and a mixed double drink can be $20+. A bottle of Grey Goose at our pool was $800 (no shit) and only $40 at the store in the mall.

If you're looking for a cheap holiday, Vegas is the wrong place to go. We both spent a couple semesters worth of tuition down there in 5 days, and we didn't even gamble or pay for sex.

Something something Bunny Ranch.
