3rd topic lol
I got hurt on the job , broke my left thumb( was off fulltime paid for 2 weeks) then I asked my doctor what he thinks I should do about work now, He said 4/hr days sounds reasonable until im reassessed after the cast is off.
The reason is because im over stressing my right hand (opposite hand that broke) because Im having to overcompensate. So its killing like me like crazy...
But WCB says "it has nothing to do with your injury we cant help you"/.. I cant work over 4 hours cause it hurts to much ..I can barely make 4.
Now should I go in on monday (first day back) 4 hour days listening to my doctor and get the benefits and shit with WCB figured out after?
Making me so damned stressed, and they are making me look like an idiot. |

| i suggest that you go in and work for the 4 hours so you dont have to dip into savings or go on the brink of being broke or anything like that. you should also talk to injury lawyers about what your options are since they are screwing you and not listening to a licensed doctor or anything. |

What kind of work are you doing?
If you broke the thumb and have to over compinsate and now that is becoming an injury it IS related to the broken thumb. Go back to the doctor as well. |

| injury lawyer. Find one that will give a free consoletation. Then discuss the case with him/her and try and get the terms to be if they are successful they get paided when you get paid. That is possible :thumbup: typically lawyers that know what they are doing make these deals. |

I am a construction worker but modified work is in and office filing stacks of paper with one hand WOo HOO!

| you know, if you really hate dealing with their modified duties programs they want you to do, you should go in there and break that guys thumb. see what he says about having to do light duties himself |
