Cd burning programs - Click HERE for Original Thread

BLK_LBL
Im using Roxio easy cd creator, but when I make my own "music" cds (NOT mp3) It doesnt burn the track name or any info along with it.

I hear that if i use a different program, I can burn the track title, artist info etc onto the cd, so It displays in my cd player.

I have a pioneer 6400, and I know its cd text capable.

any suggestions?
I need help quick, i only have 3 blank cds left :)

I use HotBurn and it works well. Display all the info you are looking for too.

Hey Wask, you do this with WMA files?
Because I find that I can't put display names on WMA files, only mp3...

Ya same with me. I only do mp3's.

I use Nero Burning rom, it seems to do this as my sisters Sony deck displays the names on cd's. It's also great for making vcd's cuz it will convert any files for you over to mpeg for functioning on regular dvd players.

I thought it was the mp3 itself that was responsible for the track title and info and such, maybe you don't have it set up right? Mine seems to work fine (Roxio 5)

im not burning MP3 files though. My brother has a mp3 deck and roxio does it just fine. A friend of mine tossed in a non-mp3 file into my deck (which is non mp3) and the track info popped up. I asked how the hell, and he told me it was all in the burning software, i think he said he uses neo
so thats why i was wondering.
