I've found myself having a rockstar a day, just as a pick me up. The feeling I get when it wears off is completely shitty.
It's like doing a rail, then coming down.. like... FUCK me. |

| i rarely drink them. i might stock up on a four pack or something if i'm doing a long drive so that i can get a bit further in a day but thats about it. COFFEE FTW! |

I drink them quite often while at work. Working 12 hour shifts (especially the night shift) I find they give me a bit of a kick when needed.
I don't drink pop or coffee, so it is my main source of caffeine.
They are extremely over priced, but they do this because of all the vitamins and stuff that goes into them (sounds gay, but when compared to something like pop...which is just carbonated water and sugar, they do have quite a bit more ingredients)
I usually buy them bulk, but that leaves me with shittier tasting ones like red rain, etc. I haven't found anywhere that sells Monster, Rockstar or RedBull in bulk.

I drink one every once in a awhile. I tried that Jolt Cola huge ass Battery one sometime ago, its like 1L or something, first I get ID'd buying it in Edson, total bullshit, then I got myself a serious migraine by drinking 1/3 of it and to boot it tastes like battery acid. Absolutely horrible. Never touch the stuff again.
I do enjoy Rockstar and Redbull on occasion or before I play hockey. Monster is gross and Full Throttle is more like pop. |

Why did you get I.D.'d? No where does it say you have to be 18 or older to buy it.

I can't stand them. I dislike the jittery feeling, and honestly there are better ways to get engery.
I work with a guy who drinks them often, and when he does I feel like knocking him the fuck out. The "lets get 'er done, I don't care about shit, lets just do something" attitude that seems to come with them drives me nuts.
I've actually called a quits on the day a few times, just so that he would go home early. Then I'd drive away, go around the block, and then go back to work so that I can actually get some quality work done. |

I'm surprised I never got ill off them. When I used to drink a lot, I drank upwards of 15 Red Bull and Vodkas. I was pretty "energetic"....but nothing to crazy :dunno:

| Im all about the NOS drinks (bottles FTW!) , Iv been trying to cut down but still am about 1-2/day. NOS seems to have the highest caffine per serving out there now (locally anyways) and it tastes pretty dam good. |

Red Rave or Red Rain are the only two I've seen that sell in 24 packs. But imo, neither tastes anything like Red Bull. I guess its just personal preference though. Even though I did like the taste THAT much, I still buy them for work. Paying $0.77 each is better than paying like $3.50 for a "better" tasting Red Bull.

one time I tried making my own energy drink by crushing up b-vitamins and some caff/eph and some taurine...etc.
then mixing it with crystal light
:( it was so bad i spat it across my windshield (from the inside) and it froze due to it being like -50 out. I was driving in the middle lane on St.Albert trail too and was completly blinded. |

| Frankly I think most of them taste like ass. The only ones I actually kinda like are Full Throttle and the ones and are like 70% fruit juice. They don't taste like liquid aspirin. |

I had one of those beaver juice drinks one time. Shoulda known by the name. Man that stuff was horrible, and I was so dissapointed because I wanted to support the canadian company. Go try one just to see how horrible it tastes.
Rockstar regular is good for when I want to drink cotton candy, juiced is nice also. NOS is tasty. The other thing I tried was that starbucks espresso doubleshot can. Tasty coffee with a bunch of caffeine. Perfect, cept for the price.
But lately I've just said fuck it with getting my fix in solution, and take everything in pill form. |

I couldn't tell you why. I was pretty shocked when the chick asked for my ID. Let's see I was driving a new car, had my GF with me, did I look 16, fuck no! I even asked her WTF? And she replied "We get a lot of kids buying this stuff and we are trying to stop it" or something to that effect, I can't remember details this happened 2 years ago.

They do nothing for me, actually they make me more tired.
I gave one to a guy once... I bought two tried one.. hate it and did nothing for me, so I gave the other one away(I was working 8pm to 8am security shift) the guy I gave it to, was halarious.. you could see him pick up as he drank it.. then he was pacing at his post... just buzzed, we were watching on camera.. and about 2 hours later he crashed hard.. he was half way through a pace, just stopped and faceplanted into the floor.
One time a guy brought in caffine pills... he dished them out... 3 to everybody, some guys picked up, me nothing.. I was actually more tired.. so he gave me more.. i ended up having about 12 in a 1hour span with no effect. It's supposed to me like 2 in 6 hours or something is what the label said.
When I drive I drink a pop, but it's more the motion reaching for it and the coldness of it that keeps me awake while driving, not the caffine. |
