| I'm in Hinton right now, and the wind is blowing the snow so hard that it was painful. We have had a very mild winter so far, but it looks like this week is going to make up for it big time. Shit weather like this means that I'm going to have to get out of my nice warm truck, and put the tire chains on tomorrow morning. |

| If it would only stay -30 for 2 weeks straight then we could get rid of that cock gobbler of a Mountain Pine Beetle. |

As cold as that would be for us...I wish it would happen too...then we would be rid of a lot of the creepy crawlies that have recently called Alberta home
I've been out most of the day...it's so busy out there....like the calm before the storm...people have their windows down...wearing light coats...smiles on their faces...all just waiting for what tomorrow will bring....

I'm all over the place. I do well completions (fracturing/kick-arounds/acidizing). I get to see some shitty weather. That last little heat wave where it was 0 in Edmonton saw me going almost to the B.C./NWT border, and in the 12 hour drive, the temperature dropped 30 degrees.
Funny thing is, by about noon today the wind died down, and it was very near zero again. |
