1g DSM issue - Click HERE for Original Thread

T-LAV MRV
picked up a 1g Laser RS fwd, its got a coolant leak from a small piece of rubber hose near the oil filter that, when the cooling system starts to come up to temp and pressure, it pisses out, so i got to change that.

the main part of this post is to find out EXACTLY how to properly bleed the cooling system on a 4g63t. s it just a simple crack the rad cap a couple of times when it comes up to temp?.

DSM's are not my forte', so help with this would be appreciated.

car has a couple of other issues that will be sorted out l8r, like a clutch pedal that only has to come up 2 or so inches for full engage, and dials and buttons on dash with no lights.

I always just left the rad cap off as it got up to temperature and let it burp out the air. And yes there is a T shaped valve on the driver side of the rad.
As for the clutch, on mine it would start to grab about 1 inch off the floor, then fully engage at about 3. I wouldnt be worried about it. Just make sure if you ever replace the clutch get the flywheel machined to the correct step. 0.612'' If i remember correctly.

thank u very much, thought it was simple like that. I've come across some wierd vehicles in my line of work, and none of them are the same(maintenance-wise).
