since it is a little chilly out there today i decided to take the gf's car to work because she has a remote starter.
i have put many km's on this car (2007 cobalt, perfect throwaway car for a first year teacher)and have zero problems so far :fingersx:.......but this morning i hit the button and she fired right up. but when i got i n and put in the key the passlock warning light stayed illuminated on the dash. its a light that looks like the image of a lock through a car.
this really had no other effects, maybe if i tried to start with the key it may have disabled the starting but the car stayed running and got me to work no problems.
anybody else experience this, i figure it may just be a quirk that popped up because of the extreme cold.
any input is appreciated- keep warm today!!! |
