its that time of year man!!
hopefully your boss/teachers/masseuse/gf will understand
i would think the battery would help make it turn over, but you would still need fuel (try adding gas line antifreeze) and spark (maybe you have ice/condensation on contacts of distributer or plugs) plus if the oil is a solid lump of sludgy wax in the bottom of the pan that wouldnt help either.
maybe your plug wasnt working
its too damn cold for many cars today!! from bimmers to k-cars new and old. |

| my 92 civic just barely turned over yesterday/today but luckily it did. I then had to let it idle for 15 min before the temp gauge moved at all. |

yesterday at home my tracer was froze cock stiff. I took some insulation from the basement and covered the engine and then packed it around under neath, then put my wisperlite camp stove under and voila 4 hrs later she was purring like a kitten with a hair ball.

Tried a drop sheet over the hood with a heater blowing onto the engine (not close though) to warm it up and even after 2hrs it didnt start. :dunno:
but at least I got some new rubber today , even though I had to wait 5hr+ at Kal Tire.
I even tried to push it up my driveway into my garage but it was too much of a slope and teh snow was too deep.

| what are the symptoms? Does it even turn over? |

I found that I really had to stab my clutch pedal in to get the starter to turn freakin switch should be twistied, does it turn over? if so fuel could be Iceish but Therin suggestion is good.
For the Record I don't have a block heater on my car and it started every morning so far with no more than 30 seconds of cranking time and I have yet to replace the battery since I bought the car in 05, one thing I love is the sound the starter makes at these temps. |

| i put a 1500W ceramic space-heater under the hood of my sprint pointing at the cylinder head-ish. it's worked the last few days since the block-heater is hooped |

| Yeah thinking its the fuel line , even with the heater It didnt start . IM going to try some inline fuel antifreeze, I doubt it will do anything now that its already frozen. |
