Where did you buy it from? Could you not just have taken it back and exchange for a Mac Book Pro? Or if they don't sell Mac's, get a refund, or store credit?
Is the 3-year extended warranty transferable? |

| Even if it's opened he could still return return most stores like futureshop and bestbuy offer that. If it's within the 30 day or 14 day period exchange return credit. Same as AudiInProgress said. |
