| I went into Sherwood Park tonight to drop the wife off at a work meeting and decided to stop into to see my parents and thought while I was there that I would plug in the car. Nope, guess not. The male connector on the end of my block heater extension cord fell right off (literally) as I was about to plug it in. So instead of enjoying a nice hot cooked meal by mom and chit chatting with the rents I had to drive my sorry ass to Crap tire and buy a male connector to attach to the cord. I was lucky enough that my parents had a garage, but it wasn't heated and there is no insulation so it was about -30. Froze my damn hands. How fucking cold does it have to be for your extension cord to break in two? End of rant. |

| How cold does it have to be for a penis to break off? So whatever temperature that would be... But look it at this way. Could've been 11pm when that happened.... Than you'd have to goto a truck stop and hope they had the connector, than do it out in the cold or a 24hr Car wash (where you get out and wash the vehicle). Good place for when in need.... |

| Last winter, I had the prongs of the extension cord break off inside the block heater plug. Not only did I have to buy a new extension cord, I was out a block heater plug as well. |

| How fuckin' long does it take you guys to to put an end on a cord? Sweet jesus, 2 screws to hold the assembly together, and 3 screws for the individual wires... Presuming you had to strip the wires first... It should take no more than 5 minutes. About 3 if the ends of the wires were okay and didn't need to be stripped. |

double that time if it's minus 30. your finger articulation goes to crap in this weather. i used to wrench on trucks outside for work. |

Got to canadian tire and buy (in the electrical section) a male end connector that you splice into the cord, solder if you can but you dont need to. Just strip the wires and screw them into place, be sure you get the ground wire correct;) |
