The adjusters have been around long enough that they are able to spot a false statement from someone involved. Also, it doesn't matter whether you admit fault or not. The insurance companies have their rules to follow to determine fault regardless of what the drivers say.
There's absolutely nothing you can do other than tell the insurance company the truth and hope it works out in your favour.
As a last resort, if you disagree with the insurance companies position and you can't get any further with them you can take the individual to small claims court and try your luck with the judge. |

Sounds like Ainlay lol and if it is you could be in luck.
IIRC there's a one way sign at the beginning of the parking lot pointing to the right so you're supposed to go in a counterclockwise fashion around the parking lot. Then there's also a camera (very very very shitty, and i doubt they even turn it on anymore) that points at the parking lot. You could try asking to see if you can view a tape from the day of the accident.
Anyways if you get a chance to talk to your insurance adjuster, just tell the truth and then point out that there's a one way sign at the entrance to the lot. |

Yeah, that's what I thought too... that camera doesn't really cover the whole parking lot. Still worth a try. |
