I just bought a Megan drift spec exhaust 2.5 cat back, just wondering if anyone has any feedback on it. how does it sound?

isnt this a question you should ask before you buy something. why dont you just wait and hear it yourself when you install it :dunno:

Well, you didn't say what car its going on; no one knows wtf you are talking about. But, since you said both "drift spec" and "cat back" in the same sentence it will more likely than not, sound like shit.

mot_bot

ya its for a 240, i looked at some video clips and they sound pretty good. it gets a little raspy when your rpm's get really high, but whatever. i just want it to be LOUD!

I hope you have some sort of mods to back up the "loud".
There is nothing more i hate when i see cars with really loud exhaust and and have nothing under the hood. Might as well put underglow on too... :dunno:

Invalid Zero
Yeah LOUD is only good when you're FAST. Loud and slow = the gay.

EDIT: You're going to get tickets out of your ass too. Giant shiny loud fart can = tickets.

I like my RS*R exmag... it's still loud but looks stealth since it's black and no a canister style muffler.

not about performance just LOUD huh, lame.

the best thing to do is have the loudest exhaust and then make sure you always have a lit joint in the car!! that is the way to roll!!

fuckin raspy shit exhaust on slow rides FTL

simpsonc
no you plug, you have lines on your dash and then you just do lines instead of smoking a joint, maybe do some meth too eh?

Love my exmag too. Looks like a stock STi tip. Loud as fuck when the wastegate opens up, which is cool by me. I don't like how it sounds in your vid though, should have done some drivebys instead. It may also be because I'm not a fan of parked car reving vids.

simpsonc
ya i like that, looks good. i like the shield as well. did you do that your self?

Nissan Fanboy
Yeah, true, the RS*R sounds much better under load when the turbo is spooled.
