A close friend of mine had a severe asthma attack Sunday evening. Though her daughter did mouth-to-mouth in efforts to continue oxygen supply to her, it was not enough.
She is currently in a coma and is on life support. The doctors will not know the prognosis until Wednesday or Thursday...but they say that it doesn't look good.
Please give her your prayers and wishes.

I'm sorry to hear this Terry, hopefully she pulls through just fine. Good thing that she had the foresight to have her daughter learn first aid to help her to this point!

The asthma attack was sudden, she took her medication before she went to bed.
I'm not 100% sure of the details.
The doctors have said that there is nothing more that can be done for her, brain activity has ceased and her daughter will be stopping life support tomorrow.

| Her family and friends will be in my prayers tonight, its scary having someone with asthma. Mine has been acting up like crazy this summer, I have 3 diff meds that I carry with me at all times. I hope her family can recover. |
