It's no skin off my nose, since I've never bought one, never would, and don't know anybody who's got one, but Isuzu is pulling out of the American (and most likely Canadian) market.
From Autoweek:
Isuzu Motors America said on Wednesday that it will stop selling vehicles in the U.S. market. The decision is effective as of Thursday, Jan. 31, the company said in a press release.
Isuzu vehicles in the U.S. market--the Ascender SUV and i-series pickups--are reworked versions of General Motors vehicles. The Ascender is reworked from the Chevrolet TrailBlazer/GMC Envoy, and the pickups are rebadged from the Chevrolet Colorado/GMC Canyon.
Isuzu sold 7098 vehicles in the United States in 2007, down 17.6 percent from a year earlier.
Isuzu said it would continue to honor warranties and encourage its dealers to continue as service-only centers. |

It works a little different in the US. I have seen dealers that sell Mercedes Benz and Nissan. It's all messed up in the US. |
