The cruises are incredibly boring. I prefer to take my own routes to West Ed if I go there. Normally I will go on my own cruise and have more enjoyable drive time.

So yeah, for anyone who's wondering what the fuck happened tonight, I pulled a Damien.
I was drifting the length of the new lot... Glenn showed up in his baller subaru, he didn't know I was planning to drift the lot, so when he pulled out in front of me... I panicked like a little fucking bitch (because I am) and I drifted my 4000lb car right into a curb... The curb acted as a giant ramp which launched me into the ditch... And uh... Well. I figured, since I always seem to slam the brakes and end up in tight spots... This time I would just try to floor it through the ditch. Little did I know, the hard packed snow on top was hiding 4 feet of soft powder... My car sunk all the way to point I could barely open my doors.
KEVIN whipped out a shovel and started digging me out, fucking would NEVER have got unstuck without his help, huge kudos.
And, some random hot older lady in a brand new 4x4 toyota came and aided in pulling my shit out... So thanks to random kindness - nice to see it's still alive in Edmonton.

For the record... Cops did show up... RCMP (out of his jurisdiction) and basically just said... "Everyone okay?" We said yes... He said "You all doing donuts?" We said no... He said "Yeah, no real cars here anyways..." Then he laughed and went away.
No tickets. No EPS cruisers showed up to bust balls. No plate-running.
All-in-all a very good meet. |

Keep the gloves, throw em in your trunk just in case you need em. I carry enough gloves in my car i could have probably handed out a pair to everyone there, lol.
We were 5-10 away with the truck when we got the call that the tundra had pulled the car out and you guys were heading to BP's.

My windshield cracked just after we started going. I think it was a repeat of the cressida. Too much heat on the windshiled, a pressure change in the right spot where a tiny, almost invisible rock chip was and whammo. A nice split along the bottom. :D
I will look at getting it replaced in may/june when all the rocks are off the road. :D

Rocks aren't off the road here until late September. I've never driven around with a cracked windshield for more than a coupla days, but these roads and their drivers are just $$$$$$$ eating!

This one is just above the wipers.

I use to work in a industrial area with only gravel roads. So you can hang back as far as you want but when a car comes going the opposite direction..doesnt help.
