Well, about 80% of the time I'm doing paper work, managing phonecalls, ordering, the rest of the time I'm out at other colleges around the city doing onsite work.
Then there are those times where sitting around waiting for stuff is just too damn boring!... |

Yep, desk jobs suck. I'd hate being a manager.
I was a supervisor for about a year, couldn't stand it, all that crushing responsibility and they ended up jacking me in the end.
Now I do what my job requires, I happen to like the people I work with now, for them I'll go over the top, noone else.
A pretty sad attitude to take, but during that time, my 65 hours overtime ontop of my 40 hours a week. Based on a 31 day month, I was putting in atleast 2 extra hours everyday, worked weekends, and was oncall 24/7 non-stop. This was only the time I reported, I practically lived there.
All I got was a big f*ck you in the end, "You can't do the work in the time given to you, you shouldn't be here" .
Mad?, no... Bitter?, extremely.
I take great comfort in knowing that in the big scheme of things, what goes around, comes around and knocks you in the can.
And when it does come back around and kick their assholes out the top of their heads, I'll be sitting there on the sidelines with a Smirnoff Ice, a Lime soaking in a Corona, and some popcorn with a lollypop on top lovin' every minute of it. |
