Umm what brand/type and what do you think/know is wrong with them?
Anyplace I know is gonna be atleast $40 to even look at them. |

| Its a pair of Sony, not sure the exact make. They are the over ear style though. The cord got chewed through so Im thinking itll be a matter of getting the cord replaced. |

Over ear phones? Bah! Don't bother!
But if you want to fix up a chewed through cord just trim up either side, match wires, solder, heatshrink, and you're done. |

key word solder..... I've found in most cases with earphone wire each strand has a layer of insulation.. so you have to melt it off.
Even if they're a $100 set, it would be cheaper to replace them than fix them.... I have a couple sets of seinhieser(sp) due to damaged cords.
Electronic Analyst is where I would go if you do decide to fix it... 90st and about 52ave... to get there get on 51ave, and head north 1 block east of 91st... first building on the left.. you can't miss them.. steep entrance to the parking lot, so don't even try with a lowered car... my fifth ave scrapes. |
