How long to report accident? - Click HERE for Original Thread

Kadaj
I was in an accident about 2weeks ago but never had the time to report the accident to the insurance company (work 6 days a week). How long do i have to report it? Am i too late?

Ruiner
unsure of the length. but its always best to do it immediately.

Kadaj
Because I have Wednesday off work and that would make it 2weeks and 2 days. Am I still able to claim?

Ruiner
you can try.

You have at least 1 year to make a claim as long as you have filed a police report.

BLOCKER
It use to be within 72 hours, but I can not find the section that states that.... It does say a soon as practicable... Get it done ASAP...
