Hi,

I drive a 99 civic HB,.. stock right now.... but I'm looking to spruce it up a little.

My big desire is more power. I'm curious if I can fit a b16 vtech header on my engine? or would replacing the whlole engine be easer/better.

I'm also curious which way would be better to go turbo or supercharger? I still need to drive this car to work but I do envision a sleeper car that can hold it's own .

Thanks.

is it a DX? What engine is in there? You'll needa give us a lil more information so that the honda guys can give ya some ideas :)

Supercharger is good if you want instant power, it takes a little power to drive, but you gain quite a bit in return.. Ive heard its like "driving with the A/C on" but I dont see how that can be

Turbo charging is good but it takes a split sec for the turbo to spool if you just gas it. Its "Almost" free power.

I am not sure how a stock engine will hold up to either of these considdering the high compression. Nitrous might be a "quick and simple" way to get the power you want.

It's a 1999 civic DX HB. Not sure what the engine # is but I know it's not a V-Tec. I guess I'm wondering if it's worth spending money on this engine or would i be better swapping to a V-tech equiped model? Or. would a v-tech header fit on what I already have?

Thanks

Before the Honda guys start to flame, it's VTEC. Not V-Tec.
