WTB: 12'' Shallow Sub Box - Click HERE for Original Thread

Battle*Axe
like the title states :)

platnum accord
i can make one to your specs right as soon as the weather changes.

Battle*Axe
how much?

platnum accord
depends on details.
box size, cuts needed, that kinda thing.
if you want it carpeted or painted.... where as you should be able to do those two things yourself.

Battle*Axe
i dunno, if i bought it custom built i'd want it cheaper than the store, and just big enough to hold a 12'' sub not much else, sealed

platnum accord
like 20 bucks? is that about fair considering like a shitty box from a store is 50ish...

Battle*Axe
ya that sounds good, as long as it's sealed well with stuff, and has the connectors and shit you know? haha
how much would you want to carpet it black for me?

platnum accord
oh with everything included man honestly it would have to be around 50 bucks. for carpet, spray adhesive, and the terminals. those are the nickle and dimers.

Battle*Axe
if you could tell me it would be as good as a box from the store i'd go for it

platnum accord
lol, is a store bought boxreally that great of quality anyways?

where store bought boxes are usualy a generic volume not made to meet specs of a sub, i can make one to meet specs of a sub to allow for best output.

Battle*Axe
ok, haha i dont really know what the specs would be for my sub to sound best in, its a Premier shallow 12''

platnum accord
i can get specs off the net and make air volume match whats necessary for the sub.

platnum accord
but pioneer makes 2 different shallow 12's... black basket, or red basket?

Battle*Axe
it has red mesh in the back

platnum accord
ok. i will look into specs and finalize a price after purchasing of terminals and all that.

Battle*Axe
sounds good

platnum accord
well what do you want, because i can make a ported box, or i could make a 1/4 wave transmission line box which would be insane if your only running 200-400 watts. but if your space conscious, then that would be a problem because the box would be like 50 lbs haha and like 5 cubic feet total. hahahaha.
