Chris, the reasoning behind what I say is based solely off the bad experiences I had encountered first hand. Like I said, I've only been to a few mets....and this was probably about 2-3 summers ago. I realize a lot can change since then, and probably has.

Each time I went, there were cars that would pull out of the parking lot, drop the clutch at 7,000RPM, and race away in their 92HP Civics, Neons, etc, etc.

Anyways, like I said before, I haven't been to one in ages, and things probably have changed.

Didn't mean to offend anyone here, and I'll be out at some point :P

Jamie

people still do that, but it's mostly the idiots that just drive thru to see the cars

or else we tell them to fuck off and leave

So what if a few people do that. Do you also avoid whyte ave because that same stuff goes on there every day of the week. Or do you avoid driving near high schools because that also goes on there? Thats a lame excuse.

its basically what shawn said; some random will come through, drive like a douche, and do a lame 70hp burn out while leaving. People like that get told to GTFO all the time.

You can always come check one out as a passenger, and leave your car safe at home! :dunno:

If this threads still going, let me vouch for this guy. While walking along whyte av drunk with a few buds, i look over and see two nice civcs with +30HP mufflers on them pull up to a red light one behind another.Whos on th corner? COPZ.They waive them over and proceed to give them, what would have had to been, muffler tickets. It was normal driving, the cops pretty much had nothing to do.Quite the experience, and i am his witness that it was innocent, execpt for the usual loud honda muffler.
