i got one in dec. i was leaving sawmill down town and was driving through the parking lot by the bank there and a cop started to back out.. i was less then 10 feet from him and if i stopped to let him out i would have been blocking a 4 way stop, so i kept going past him so i wouldn't be blocking traffic or him if he tried backing out left. i didn't think anything of it but when i was driving up to mcdonalds he came ripping up behind me with his lights on so i stopped and he gave me a ticket for driving at unsafe speed for over $170 cuz you know 1st gear in an icy parking lot is an unsafe speed.

any who when i am backing out of a parking spot um... i kinda have to watch for other cars before i back out cuz i am backing into traffic. shouldn't cops have to do the same thing?

i couldnt fight it cuz i couldn't get the time off work to go to court so i paid it.

thats bs and i would be pissed. 170$ and you paid it ? you can go to the JP anytime and talk to him about it. i would have went to court for that one forsure.
