Where to buy paint? - Click HERE for Original Thread

AcousticAudio
Hey guys, I'm going to be painting my car myself in the next month or so, and I'm wondering where is a good place to go to buy quality paints? I'm not sure if I will need a color mixed or not yet, I guess it depends where I go to buy the paint. Are there any house of kolor dealers around here?

thanks for any info

Carlson's can help you out with whatever you need in terms of Autobody supplies.

Sounds like thats all I need to know. I'm hoping they carry HOK? I'm pretty much set on kandy cobalt blue over a metallic silver base.

Napa.

There's a new paint only warehouse in the west end (not the old 118th ave one, but a new one on 118th Ave and around 178th St).

They'll sit and talk BS with you all day about paint if you want :)

I have to ask - do you have experience painting? If not, you may wish to reconsider the Kandy if you do it yourself...

But yes - Carlson's should have the HOK lineup for you to choose from.

Haha, don't worry. Although this is the first car I will be spraying myself, I don't rush into anything. On top of that I have my dad who has had 30+ years experience spraying numerous vehicles.

Thanks again for your help
