Me and you should have alittle skidpad/slalom test and see what happens, shit I'll even run stock springs haha |

Its called POWER. |

Hahaha power. Its called SKILL!!
7psi on a t25 did the trick last year(approx. 170rwhp). We'll see what 7psi on a GT2871 and a fully built engine will do (roughly 250rwhp on a 2100lbs chassis)
Now if you mean drag track then I agree. |

If you want to know why Conroy's and Trent's cars were extremely fast, I just told you the answer. Time attack cars don't make in excess of 400 horsepower for NO reason. |

Conroy your secret is out!! I just need 400hp and I can be as fast as you are!!!
I agree more power is nice but is usually not your limiting factor. Most people need more skill than more power, myself included. Faster people are usually the guys with a million laps like Jules who has some real low power racecars but still is very competitive. |

some how i think that my fd (or rad old car) will not do as well as conroy or trent at the track is because of me or it will try to kill me :( . but that not why i bought the car rather have some fun at the track. spoonin id love to see how my lightly moded speedprotege do agaist your s2000:fingersx:. |

I have 100 780 tuner stickers. I am going to slap them all on my Avalon, take out the rear seats and spank all your asses at the track.
Everyone knows that each sticker is worth 10hp. So do the math. That means I will have 1000 hp of doom YO!
Think that is scary enough, the AMA help to stop faster. Wonder why the old people don’t go to fast…it is cause the AMA stickers upgraded their brakes! I will bring boxes of Kleenex to these events. 1 to wipe your teara and one to stuff your bra’s!
Chuck Norris is my Co-pilot so don’t event think of trying to win!

Maybe this year I can finally get a full pass down the track with the new setup! If I have time to finish/fix my car and go out to the track.
Last year I was spanking a supercharged SRT10, until I broke something switching to 3rd, and he ran a 13.6.
So I hope I run something faster than that! |

1:09's in the festerossa actually on his dinky ass Arcaboleno slicks or whatever.
To the rest of you sans Conroy and a select few, don't worry! We're going to run a fastest shit talker competition this year!
Although, if last year was any indication I think 95IntegraRS has the competition wrapped up for the next decade or so. After all, he's almost got the same setup as Conroy, so he figured he'd be just as fast. Or was it that Conroy was going to be the only guy he could compete with because he already knows he's so fast? I can never remember..... |

Forgot to mention, we're running an 11 date calendar with 3 weekend events, 1 school, and 7 night lapping / time attack sessions. There will be no excuses this year. Those who don't show are slow.
EDIT: Forgot to add that we're running a points championship as well. |

and yes, power means very little at stratotech. in a stock auto rsx i was much faster then a guy driving a s2k. julian was faster then me when i was driving my gtr.
tires, how well you know ur car, and how good you are at driving are the major factors. |
|
|

i agree, it has lots to do with experience..
cant expect to be going there first time and rape shit
just come out and have fun!! dont worry about being the fastest if its your first time you wont be, its simple racings all about having fun and learning
shit i dont know how many laps ive done on that god damn track and still dont understand parts of it and what physically happens to the car :D |

wow leave the computor for a day and i missed out on four pages of fun....
Fadi. dont insult my car, insult me... get it right.
sorry mr. spoonnin.... same HP rating nearly half the torque! and at nearly double the rpm to do it!!! sounds really shitty to drive to me?
the normally aspirated, DOHC, 16-valve, 2.0-liter four made an unfathomable 240-horsepower thanks to Honda's famed VTEC variable valve timing technology, a super-lightweight reciprocating assembly, a dizzying 9,000-rpm redline and the sacrifice of virtually all usable low-end torque. It was an easy car to love, and a tough car with which to live.
1,997 cc 2 liters 4 in-line front engine with 87 mm bore, 84 mm stroke, 11 compression ratio, double overhead cam, variable valve timing/camshaft and four valves per cylinder
- Premium unleaded fuel
- Fuel economy EPA highway (l/100km): 9
- Multi-point injection fuel system
- Main 50 liter premium unleaded fuel tank
- Power: SAE and 179 kW , 240 HP @ 8,300 rpm; 153 ft lb , 208 Nm @ 7,500 rpm
BMW M roadster.
So, if raw-edged performance if what you're after, the M provides it in spades. How could it not, with a 240-horsepower, 3.2-liter inline six stuffed under its bulging bonnet and charged with motivating a measly 3,084 pounds? By dipping into the 236 ft-lbs. of torque, made at a reasonably low 3,800 rpm, acceleration from zero-to-60 mph measured a tire scorching 5.6 seconds.
- 3,152 cc 3.2 liters 6 in-line front engine with 86.4 mm bore, 89.6 mm stroke, 10.5 compression ratio, double overhead cam, variable valve timing/camshaft and four valves per cylinder
- Premium unleaded fuel
- Fuel economy EPA highway (l/100km): 9
- Multi-point injection fuel system
- 51 liter premium unleaded fuel tank
- Power: SAE and 179 kW , 240 HP @ 6,000 rpm; 236 ft lb , 320 Nm @ 3,800 rpm
but hey i still say lets bolt the race rubber on your car and you let me take it for a few laps with you in the passenger seat?????? see what that torqueless, snowmobile motored beast can do? what do you say? |
