so it's that time of year to get the car out and start doing oil changes before summer and since i just got my car in november and it's been sitting i haven't done one yet.:dunno:
I was reading on rx7 club and a 10w40 seems to be the number going around for oil but i don't really know what brand to use any suggestions?
also any suggestions on spark plugs BUR7EQP is a hotter plug used solely to improve emissions. For performance driving, use four NGK BUR9EQP’s to reduce the risk of detonation. |

20w50 is commonly used, although I use 10w30. Better for our climate, IMO. As for brand..... pick one. If you're stock (including OMP), run a higher quality non synthetic. If you're not running a OMP, pick and choose whatever you'd like.
As for plugs: Again if you're stock, run the standard 7's and 9's configuration.
Running above 300whp I see most people run 9's all around, and above 400whp they run 10's. |

Not bad, I may have to actually go to Mazda next time. Part Source/Crappy Tire ect. have them from $16.00 - $22.00. Even online they're still $11.00. Each, that is. |

| yeah i went to weber and it was around 40 for all for 2 leading and 2 tailing. just watch yourself when you put them in. for oil i use Castrol GTX 10W40 for most of the year. You can pick the oil up pretty much anywhere. And i premix gas with 2stroke oil. |
