Which Samsung?

I have the 4669 and love it. I researched for a good month and a half straight before I came to that decision. I don't regret it at all.

I picked up a sony KDL-52XBR4 LCD in october, no complaints whatsoever since. I looked around for months beforehand and just kept coming back to it.

Acer Electronics - AT4220A

Set up quite a few of these at clients offices, in board rooms and such, mounted to walls...

Quite nice units for such reasonable prices.

And believe me, I'd be the last person on earth, to advocate an Acer product normally.

4669 is my pick but i gotta save up. it's so nice in the store the main reason i want it is the 120hz and automotion.

I've got a LC52D82U and man its amazing! great as a computer monitor too :) hoping to upgrade to a 65" if the price ever drops

Savage

I just picked up this baby last week when it was on for $1300 (reg $1700)

Samsung 40" 1080p

I also picked up the Samsung upconverting dvd player this weekend. it looks great.

Still have to hook up HD cable but so far I'm really happy with it.

HDMI?

^^^ not sure what your asking.

I use D-Sub to hook up the computer to the TV. And it has 3 HDMI sockets, 1 for PVR/cablebox, 1 for upconverting dvd player and 1 spare(front)

This bit off topic but a good place to ask. How do I get get the PC to display to the whole screen? It only uses the 4:3 right now.

Also, the TV gives an error when I try to use 1080p setting.

My vid card, evga 8500gt 256mb passive cooler

Probably because you're chosing a 5:4 aspect ratio resolution...

On boxing day I bought the 52" Samsung LN-T5265FX
I have had no issues with this. I love it.

lilredEG
BananaBoy, do you have anything with an HDMI cable hooked up to your tv?

As far as what i use my tv for, I have an HD DVD player and a PS3 so i pretty much use it for high def movies and games. I hate 90% of whats on tv so I wont likely bother to get any high def tv.. At least not for the time being.

:dunno:

Ok, I admit it, I'm a total noob at the AV stuff

I'm going to pick up a DVI to HDMI cable today to see what that will do.

I didnt wait in line. I went to Leons (no one there at 8:30am) and I had them do two price matches on the TV and Samsung Surround sound system

You wont regret it.

The TV is f'n amazing.

BananaBoy
DVI to HDMI cable did the job. the whole screen is being displayed in crystal clarity. Surfing the web on a 40" incredible. going to load up a game over the weekend.:D

Picked up an old, second hand 57 inch Sony. Bought a new 5.1 Onkyo system from London Drugs. Loving it!
