| I don't know about you guys but i think we should simply bring the prelude club back to 780 since the webpage is expired. I think this would be a great way to attrack new members since there seem to be alot of new people on 780 and our site kind of died. What do you guys think? |

yah i have so many damn logins for so many sites now. I find it so much easier to just log on here and have both in my face. I think alot of others would agree that just having it on 780 like it used to would be beneficial to them and the club.

lol, well guys the whole reason the site got shut down is due to the domain expiring (not my fault)
a sask member owned the domain and let us use it, but obviously forgot to renew it. What can happen is i can purchase the domain once it expires and re-direct it to this forum for the time being. if we can grow in numbers, and start to get the club going good again we can then decide if we want to try a new site out again. but like adam said the sites traffic was in the toilet. this might give us a chance to expand since we can direct 780 prelude owners to this forum. Plus it keeps everything in one place. So yes, we can use this forum once again. its worked good in the past :) it just really sucks i lost my build thread/ pictures/ etc. And im sure some of you are pretty choked too. O well i suppose. We needed a new plan of action anyways. |

btw, should you guys change the name "Prairieludes", everytime I tell someone with a lude to join "Prairieludes" they just get a look on their face "wtf?" And I'm just like, "it a edmonton based prelude fourm...."
I vote for a new name!!! |

:thumbup: agreeded. i vote edmonton prelude club again haha. the decals were sweeter and epc is a better name.
s for your thread dont you have the pics on photoshop? can you make a new one here. i am sure lots of non prelude members would really enjoy seeing that build. |

www.prairieludes.com now redirects to this forum. i purchased the domain and redirected it :)
i also recieved news our old site is still technically up. the hosting company emailed me and he said they have the site saved. our 2 options are keep posting here, or re-open the site. im on the fence kinda. what i could do is get a backup of the site and if we do grow in numbers reopen it the way it was. |

| Agreed... the site got pretty dead there for a while. I think keeping a backup in case number grow again is a good idea. |

| I don't have facebook and don't really intend on getting it. So get the site running agian. This site isn't seeing more people, it is the same few guys that are on the prairie ludes site. |

| its just that the club is too dead to support a independent website right now. im sure i would have to pay for hosting charges since the site would have to be re-opened. this is free besides the domain but thats like 10-15 bucks a year lol. facebook is good due to car owners searching groups, and people can get redirected to specific groups in there interests. might attract some new members who had no idea of the club. we just need some rebuilding ideas, thats all. the site isn't going anywhere, i can get the backup. it just makes no sense to open the site with only a few members. this would give us a bit more exposure. |

| ya, im in thinking mode lol. the more we get the word out, the better chance the club has to be successful. entering a car show with flyers to distribute would be huge. im actually going to start working on entering us in DTP if enough people are interested. I will make a thread in a bit. i will find out registeration requirements and club requirements and get back to everyone. |
