I can't remember if it was Southpark or Family Guy or American Dad that had an episode centering around ecoterrorists a little while ago, but it was hilarious. (and sadly somewhat true...) |

Yes I have, and it was in reference to the cartoons you described above.
My point is that the US are the only ones retatded enough to use and brand it.

True. I would ask them what the difference is between an ecoterrorist and a serial arsonist is.
In a sense though, an arsonist has no definable target, and will set anything ablaze. An ecoterrorist in a sense targets specific individuals or property in the name of the environment.
There was a story a few years back about a GM dealership in California that lost 5 Hummers to 'ecoterrorism', 'arson'... whatever. The point is this group specifically targeted the Hummers, while leaving the rest of the dealership alone. |
