I burnt my finger last night so I put some burn cream on is and bandaged it up. This is what it looked like when I took the bandage off. LOL Should I pop this bitch?

anschutz_93
Poke a hole in it and suck out the juices

AudiInProgress
I was going to say bite it off... hahaha

AudiInProgress
Wait. I want to know the hilarious story behind how you burned yourself?

Perilous_Enterprises
Pssshh, thats no burn! When you require a skin-graft, you have a burn!

Having been on fire countless times myself, I would advise you to poke at it and threaten to spray the puss all over your younger siblings (if you have any) if they don't give you their allowance... Thats what I'd do if I had a burn and a younger brother or sister....

katrink
that was so fucking gross.

STiPWR
You arnt supposed to pop it........ BUT... I always do.. lol.

Stick it with a needle and press out the water. Just dont rip off the skin. I also wouldnt bandage it up. Let it get some air and it will heal up quick.

EK9Hatch
Once its drained, it will dry up quick and you can return to work within 3-4 days.

Jamie

katrink
what does it look like now?

Didja pop it yet?

4thGenLude
yeah i pop those bitches
fuck dealing with that thing all day

Nothing really hilarious. I was finishing up a cap on my uphand weld and a glob of slag landed on my glove, it didn't hurt too bad so I finished what I was doing.

Anyway I popped this bitch. Feels way better without the pressure in there. Now I just have this deflated balloon of skin on my finger.

FIxed ^ lol to easy
I got a large chunk of slag right in my palm and the whole center was a big huge bubble that made a splash on the ground when I ripped it open.
You should have taken pictures of the popping!

ChromeDragon
You should have burned the blister to see if it would grow its own blister.

How did I miss this thread?
I think you should have injected sea monkeys into it and watched them grow. :D

No new pics. The hole I poked in it sealed itself up, and today it's filling with fluid again.

No, it's only 2 or 3 layers of skin, with the pressure behind it yesterday it would have just melted the skin and leaked out.:(

shorti
Once you get all of the fluid out make sure you disinfect the area thoroughly. Then lather on some polysporin and bandaid it for a couple of days.

Thats why I told you to rip it off. Poking a little hole in the skin is for wimps. Be a man, rip that fucking bitch off.

I agree!

Then put some polysporin in the hole, cover it with a bandaid for a day... Then air it out... You'll be good as new in under a week.

Thanks doc!

And no, I'm not ripping this shit off for a few days at least till the new skin underneath isn't so sensitive.

EK9Hatch
OMG...lol

I would just rip it off, and put nothing on it. Actually, I would probably go play in some dirt and mud and soon as I ripped it off.

Its only a bit of skin, you will survive! :p

Jamie

Bitskyline
i burned my thumb last summer on my turbo

that sucked ass.

someguyincanada
sheesh all you guys are babies......

Invalid Zero
I'm not crying about it. I barely felt it. I posted the pics because I've never gotten a blister that blew up like that.
