3rd Gen Prelude/nsx Idea - Click HERE for Original Thread

chu77
Ever since the first time seeing a 3rd gen lude I've thought it looked kind of like a mini-nsx.

So I was thinking of building a lude with nsx parts.........

Maybe I'll name it:
"baby nsx" or "Pre-NSX" "prelude type N" lol

Anyways here's the plan, I want you guys to give me more ideas and see how far we can take this, maybe even make it an EPC show car.
:thumbup:

Base= 1991 lude 4ws

Headlights (97+ lude)
Tail light (98+ accord coupe)
Lowered, wide fender, smooth out the box shape body line, repaint

Custom fiberglass dash and interior

What do you guys think? I might do it this summer if I got time.

i will definitely help but one thing you need to know. That is an extremely difficult project. I am not body man but if you are i am game :thumbup:

:lol: i have no clue. Seriously, what you just described sounds to intense for me. I would honestly probably only be there taking instructions on what to do. Not giving them out.

this is funny due to magazine reviews calling the 3rd gen lude the baby nsx. it might be doable but its going to take a lot of work/ money. i suck at body work, but i can always lend a hand if your willing to go through with it. once you start though theres no going back lol. if you use bondo your going to need a lot of it, and it will add a ton of weight. maybe make the shape you want out of something lighter and easy to sculpt and then put a layer of body filler over it and the n paint. thats my suggestion.
