May 13th from 5PM to 9PM will be the first lapping event for those of you that were as dissapointed as we were about this shitty weather. :(
Also, should you have questions or comments about the event, PM me as it seems SpeedwayRacing has been banned. No explanations given though, very exciting! |

Unfortunately there will be no formal timing for the 13th, but you guys can bring stopwatches, etc. We wanted to start out with a non-timed event to get everyone back up to speed safely.
The next time attack on the schedule is going to be Tuesday, June 3rd from 5PM - 9PM. A short event, but we will get times in for everyone. :)
As for the refunds, thanks. We wanted to make sure nobody thought we were on the take. :) |

Just wondering if everyone has gotten their refund for the school and the time attack from Apr 19/20 yet. I had a refund receipt from paypal but the funds have yet to be delivered. Not very familiar with paypal so I'm wondering how long I usually have to wait.

| how do the heats work? Are there different classes? Ive got a crx with a b16...possibly b18 by that time...but it doesnt go, or handle like say..a wrx. |

The heats basically work in 10 minute sessions with the cars split into groups of 4-5 cars. We do this because its a good way for everyone to get in track time, and it limits mechanical failures. Registration for the evening lapping event should be up some time next week. |

Basically they look at your car and determine where it would fit best with other cars and the drivers skill.
Take me for example, last year I had a turbo miata with brakes, suspension ect but was a rookie to lapping so I stated in the slowest group. After one session I was moved up a group because I caught the person ahead of me.
So things aren't set in stone, orders change through out the day to keep everyone safe and more importantly fast. |

| At this time we are still talking with statotech about the school. But we are getting into racing season now and a lot of our instructors have their own racing to worry about. We may still have one but if we do it will more then likely be late in the season. |
