So this last week ive been looking around for a new HDTV, i found exactly what i wanted at best buy and got them to give me their final price including delivery, extended store warranty and taxes. The price wasnt bad but i decided to still check around. I went to Visions on 178 St and talked to the salesman about this tv and what it would cast in total. The price at Visions was $400 less than at Best Buy and even had a better warranty. I just thought every one should know about it.

Same thing happened to my dad. Priced out 2 50" LG plasma's. Fairly close price everywhere except Visions.. Saved $1400.

Visions isn't nearly as horrible as some people might think... I've shopped there on numerous occasions, and even though they might try hard to upsell, that's just their job... Like any other salesman.

Everywhere will match prices. You're going to find that a ton of places will have varying prices, but will match if you bring another price into their store.

It just depends on where you like to buy the product. :dunno:

Graphite.. do you mean on 170th? Who was your salesmen just out of curiousity? I really like dealing with Raoul myself. I used to work there - I still go in at least once or twice a week to visit and work on my car in the shop. Theres some really great guys there, but theres also some shady characters.. mostly in Tv's.

I usually go to cost co for TV, right off the bet ,it give you 90 day return policy, and 2 years warranty.

Costco - depends what your looking for in a tv. There prices are good...for what you get....I checked them out before I bought my TV, however, my experience was that they had lower end LCD & Plasma TV's and im not talking brand name. I'm referring to refresh rates, contrast ratio's, ect, ect.

They have the lowest model made from the specific brand name. So if they have a sony, it's the lowest model from that year.. or the lowest model from 2 years ago.

I got ripped off by that Rhaol dude , Found out the next day went and confronted his coworkers and they couldn't believe he did it..I did end up getting 400 bucks back but most people wouldn't of noticed it.

Not to mention they are pushy as hell, I was thinking about buying a tv and it was his shift end so he has the balls to say "Hey man can you hurry up"... When purchasing a 5000 dollar TV (spending that much money) dont fucking rush me, or give me another salesman

Hooly sorry to hear that.
He's usually really good.
