Night driving has gotten difficult since the illumination of my gauges and other acc. has crapped out. My licence plate bulbs and anything else connected to this one fuse won't light up when I turn on my headlights. I've replaced the fuse but I still get nothing? Any suggestions b4 I start tearing apart my dash????? I've got a 91 Sentra XE.

maybe your headlight switch for the park lights is faulty...?...that controls illumination for dash lights, parking lights, license bulbs etc...

have you had any elictrical work done recently?
stereo, car starter, alarm?
if so check that first.

an other really bad sugestion is to short out the fuse with a jumper wire and watch for the magic smoke.

I suggest you really don't try this unless you know what you are doing.

and remember once the magic smoke comes out it doesn't go back in. :P
