So I seafoamed my car... What a waste of money. Barely any smoke show, and zero notable difference in performance, keep your $20.00

Invalid Zero
What are you driving now anyway?

Geofux
In my car there was a huge difference, and the can costed just under $9 after tax... :dunno:

You still have a relatively new car...

you don't want to know

haha

actually... i bought a little 2002 neon for booting around town. being an on-site tech, im driving all over the city (and surround area like nisku) so i needed something economical. little 4cyl 5spd dodge does me just fine for now.

B-TownRep
Hey AIP, can you PM saying how you went about doing that? My trucks old, I'm sure that stuff would go along way for my old farm motor.

You just did it wrong.:p

4thGenLude
the vacuum is the most important one fosho

AudiInProgress
LOLOL!

Yes, I sucked it directly into the engine VIA vacuum line, half a bottle... Then another half-bottle in the oil... Then a full bottle in fresh tank of gas.

I'm not stupid you know.

It's quite possible that this engine just didn't need it. It's only got about 95K on it.

ChromeDragon
So you sucked the 1/2 bottle in, then shut off the car for five minutes to let it soak?

I hope you're not continuing to drive with that other 1/2 bottle in the crankcase. You're only supposed to pour it in, run it for a few minutes and then change the oil.

Not according to the directions...

With 1/2 a can of seafoam in the crankcase, you're supposed to drive for 100 miles, THEN get an oil change.

That's what I was told when I emailed them...

I've only driven like 50km.

50 km is no where near 100 miles.

160 km is more like it.
