I fell off a second story deck.... well I didn't fall off... I was getting off it via ladder(no stairs) and the ladder failed so I fell off that and landed almost head first on the joists of the deck we were building below...
No pics or video of that... I fell off my sled a couple times a while back.. here's a pic:
I was landing jumps or trying to land jumps so a reporter of the local paper could take some action shots for a poker rally...
actually I should re-word that.. I was getting air for the picture and then depending on where I was landing bailing off.. I had a very small landing zone before a small cliff... |

Crazy, I saw the aftermath of an accident just like that Harley yesterday!
I was driving back to Edmonton on HW 16 about 10 miles east of the city at around 3 or 4pm. I saw two dudes trying to push a giant cruiser like a Harley Touring or something out of the ditch of a road running parallel to the highway. They had like 10 feet of vertical to climb and were just spinning and spinning on the grass... I had the 3/4 ton and was going to help but there a bunch of people there already.
Rusty riding skills on ice cold pavement = laying your giant, expensive cruiser down in a ditch. |

| I'm sorry, but I love watching bike crashes, hope it never happens to anyone here though... |

Haha come out to stratotech and watch the races this summer, you're not likely to see anything spectacular like bikes flipping through the air, but I can almost guarantee you will see crashes (hope its not me lol)
From time to time there have been some pretty big crashes here.. one incident the bike went off the end of turn 2, over the fence and ended up on the highway  |

I hope not as well...
I should just buy another bike. I enjoyed sliding across some ladies front lawn on my back after crashing into a curb/tree. And it wasn't my damn fault! Mechanical failure for the lose.
That'll teach me to buy a 30 year old bike. Next one will be only a few years old, with some kind of accurate maintenance history, haha! |

i haven't fallen many times, thank god. Never fallen at work, since i work at heights that would really suck. Even wearing a fall arrest harness it still hurts.
Took a nice spill from the sled 2 weekends ago and landed on my head/neck, rolled onto my side/back hard and then came back up walking. I don't know what was worse, the week of sore neck and back that followed, or having my back, hood, down the front of my shirt and helmet full of cold, cold, cold snow. First time i hurt myself in the snow so far, ussually its nice and fluffy  |
