I need a D16Y8 motor and I was thinking I'd have better luck on a honda specific forum... any good resources or suggestions?

not anymore. the user base had faded.
Y8's are still fun, though. several users here were also part of the old local honda forum, and they have lots of experience. Just ask the right question...

I don't know of any but there are a lot of Canadian people on Civicforums.com I use to go there a lot when I had my 03 Civic. Good resource.
